CARE BEAR GRADUATION!!!

It's that time again, time we realize our Care Bears are growing up and will be heading off to 'big school'. We have 20 Care Bears graduating, many of whom have been at TLC since they were infants. Please join us for our Care Bear Graduation Wednesday, June 4 at 10:00. Parents and family, you won't want to miss this very special event! We have been so blessed to be allowed such a part in these children's lives. They will be truly missed...but we hope we will be seeing each one after school each day in the fall!!!

Shannon's Scoop...'All About Me', a very GREEN birthday, and CAREBEAR Graduation.....

During our first week of 'All About Me', the preschool classes discussed birthdays and other important events about themselves. Each class celebrated with a 'class birthday party'. They made cakes during cook day and played pin the tail on the donkey. Shelby is a pretty good egg cracker, she and Blake are helping out with Ms. Lindsey's class' cake in the top picture. Then in the next, we have Tyler stirring Ms. Heather's cake up reeeeal good as Maci looks on. Of course, no Carebear birthday would be complete without Alec spinning Caroline around before her turn of pinning the tail, our next picture.

THIS week, we will talk about our families. We plan to have a picnic lunch Wednesday, just like families have picnics together. The toddlers, poohbears and carebears will all make their own sack lunches. Please send a beach towel for your child to sit on outside.

It's not easy being green.....Little Miss Claire Green (really her last name) had a YUMMY birthday party while sharing cupcakes with her friends! I wonder how long it took Ms. Mary to get her cleaned up??? Pretty Brooklynn thought the cupcake was delicious! Obviously, these were the bottom two pictures :)

Shannon's Scoop...A day at TLC

Here's a look inside a typical day at TLC..........Sam's karate instructors came out for a visit in the Care Bear room..... Zoey Brown shows how much fun she can have when Ms. Stephanie takes the chair out of the baby room table for some cleaning.....sweet Landon is all smiles in the baby room.....Caroline and Sade hard at work in Ms. Becky's class.....Check out the conga line in the music room with Maddie, Maddy, Haley and Nicholas.....all in a day's FUN!!!

Shannon's Scoop.....

Yesterday was our Mother's Day Tea Party with the Care Bears and their Moms. As usual, our talented Care Bear classes sang perfectly the sweetest songs you could imagine. They had been working hard preparing the snacks and decorations, and if you were lucky enough to be a part of this, you know it was beautiful!!! By the way, in case any one doesn't know this: We have the most gorgeous Care Bear girls and the most handsome Care Bear boys at our school! Take a look at the slide show below. Shannon's Scoop.....

This morning we cleared the parking lot of cars and filled it with bikes, scooters and big wheels! We had our annual 'Riding Toy Day'. The rain held off and we had a great time! Our babies and toddlers were entertained as the Pooh Bears and Care Bears were peddling in front of their windows.
