This week we went 'camping'!!! Look at all our cool tents!
Evan brought an awesome tent...we had so much fun this week!
Kanyon is 'roasting' a marshmallow by the Pooh Bear 'camp fire'.
We made our own tents, too, so everyone could take turns in all the tents!
Julia is a cutie pie camper, isn't she?

Shannon's CIRCUS Scoop!

This week we talked about the circus. The Care Bears walked the 'tight rope'...
and we even had some clowns show up for school Thursday!

Do you have pictures of a camping trip with your family? Your child's class would love to see them. We know pictures are valuable, so if you are able to let us borrow them to share, give them to your child's teacher and we will take good care of them. We will return them after our camping unit.

School age summer is over!!! We had a quick, fun summer! Now we've got to switch our brains over to before/after school mode...

Morning van departure times:

Bryant Elementary and Middle School 7:25

Hurricane Creek 7:30

Springhill 7:35

Bethel Middle 7:35

Collegeville 7:45

After school van riders, we need a phone call if your child is absent from school, has been checked out, or is a car rider.....so we won't be looking for them. This is a courtesy to our staff as well as the other children waiting on the van while we are trying to locate someone.

Shannon's Scoop!

It's time for the best event of the TLC summer!!! Our annual TLC carnival is set for Wednesday, August 13. The school age will go over to Mills Park where they'll have games, slides, food, face painting....we'll have a BLAST! Rooms 1 & 2 will leave at 8:15.....Rooms 3 & 4 and the Activity Center (not upstairs) will go at 9:45.

I'm taking outside enrollment, and we are filling up!

Just a reminder for after school care, if your child is absent from school, has checked out, or is a car rider, CALL US AND LET US KNOW! This saves lots of time each afternoon......our vans do not leave the schools until all children are accounted for. It is much easier on the van drivers and the other children if they do not have to wait around making phone calls trying to reach parents.
