What a FUN Halloween Carnival we had!!! We had some awesome costumes and yummy treats! Hopefully a slideshow of pictures will come soon.......

Shannon's Scoop...

Halloween is here!!! Friday we will have lots of spooky, silly fun! Pooh Bears and Care Bears will play Halloween games and win prizes & candy! Please wear your costume Friday (toddlers too). Toddlers will party in their classroom. We want all of our friends to see our costumes! After our games are played and we are ready to party & munch on some candy, we will change into our regular clothes for the day. Parents, you are welcome to come have fun with us!

Please bring in your bag of candy by Wednesday, 10/29, so we can prepare for our games. Also, if you signed up to bring a party treat, bring it in by party time! We don't want our little goblins to not have enough party stuff!

2008 Race for the Cure

This little piggy smells stinky..... Garrett and Becca watch the Pig Races at the Pumpkin Patch.

We are finishing up our 'color' unit with black, just in time for Halloween! Make sure you remember your black book Tuesday, your black toy Thursday, and also remember to wear black Thursday! I wonder what kind of black treat we will cook Wednesday? Our annual Halloween Carnival will be Friday, October 31 at 9:00. (We are asking that each child bring in one bag of wrapped Halloween candy by Wednesday, 10/29.) The fun begins with the Pooh Bears. We will have games, prizes and of course, Halloween candy! After the Pooh Bears have played games and are ready to munch on some candy, the Care Bears will come in to play... please come in costume!!!



By the way, we had a great time Saturday during the Race for the Cure. If you see Ms. Natalie, ask her about her line dancing debut (she took a little break from her walk to slide in with some line dancers performing for the walkers)...Ms. Alden and Ms. Kylea slipped off to the side to try some yoga as these limber people showed off for us walkers...Ms. Jamie and Ms. Alden made Channel 7 news, as did Ms. Marcia on another channel from what I hear. Again, WE CELEBRATE DEIDRA CRIMMINS FOR HER VICTORY IN THE BATTLE!

The Pumpkin Patch trip with our Care Bears was FUN! Thank you to all the parents we had along to help! Now we can say we've seen a pig race!

Shannon's CELEBRATION Scoop!

Tomorrow as our TLC Races for the Cure, we do so in CELEBRATION OF DEIDRA CRIMMINS. Her daughter, Gracie Crimmins, is in Ms. Ashley's Pooh Bear class. After the 2007 Race for the Cure Deidra was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was tough and courageous and she won her battle! Now, a year later she is cancer free and ready to Race again....we honor and celebrate her as we join together for tomorrow's race.
