School Age: Pizza MONDAY!
TUESDAY Room 1 does some cookie decorating here at TLC...Rooms 2, 3 & 4 bowl at Professor Bowl @ 1:15...and the Activity Center will see the Karate Kid at Tinseltown @ 10:20!
WEDNESDAY Room 1 will see a movie @ 8:30 @ Tinseltown and then swim at 1:45...Rms 2, 3 & 4 will see the movie at 8:30 @ Tinseltown...the Activity Center will have contests with hula hoops, jump ropes and the limbo!
THURSDAY Rm 1,2, 3 & 4 skate at Benton Skate Center @ 12:15....Activity Center skates @ AR Skatium @ 9:30!
FRIDAY Rm 1 has beach ball games, hula hoops and the limbo at TLC...Rms 2, 3 and 4 swim @ Mills Park @ 1:45....the Activity Center will have a different kind of art contest......!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all our Community Helpers! Wow! Who knew climbing in the back of a U Haul could be so much fun! And, all the goodies we got from them, they were AWESOME! Thanks to the Bryant Fire Department for coming out to see us and allowing us to come see them! Thank you also to Brandon Brumley of 24 Athletic Club for exercising with us!

Spring Break is here! Hopefully it will FEEL like Spring outside! Lots of fun things planned for school age....
Monday: FUN at TLC!
Tuesday: Skating at Benton Skate Center, 8:45-11:45, $3.50 (act. fee charged to your account)
Wednesday: @ TLC.....Cakery Affairs here at 10:00, $3 then Mills Park 1:00-3:00
AC.......Mills Park at 9:15-11:15, then Cakery Affairs at AC at 1:00, $3
Thursday: Movie at Tinseltown, time and show to be announced......
Friday: FUN at TLC!

Lots of community helpers are coming in the next few weeks! If you see an ambulance or fire truck, don't be alarmed they are just visiting us! This is a FUN unit, thank you to our parent community helpers who are taking the time to come by and speak with us. It's going to be FUN!

This week as I was taking random pictures throughout the rooms, I realized how BLESSED I am to have such great teachers. I wish parents could see just a bit of all the fun the children are having....and how much this wonderful staff puts into each day for each one of your WONDERFUL children! I am so thankful for my teachers and I want them to know it!!!!!
So, to all my teachers...
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMING TO WORK IN PJs AND ACTING SILLY ALL DAY AND PUTTING YOUR HEART INTO YOUR WORK AND EATING GREEN EGGS AND HAM AND FISHING EGG SHELLS OUT OF COOK DAY STUFF AND LETTING YOUR HAIR GET BRUSHED WITH TOYS AND PRETENDING TO BE LITTLE MISS MUFFET OR JACK OR JILL AND RACING ON STICK HORSES AND PRETENDING TO HUNT FOR BEARS AND HAVING PRETEND CAMPFIRES AND ACTING LIKE ZOO ANIMALS AND LOOKING FOR 'GOLD' ON THE PLAYGROUND AND PRETENDING YOUR ROOM IS AN AIRPLANE AND EvErYtHiNg else!

We had a GREAT PJ day! We had our usual, but definately better, Care Bear Fashion Show complete with a runway and even popcorn! Ms. April had the BEST PJ DAY LOOK, her outfit was topped with some really messy, just got outta bed hair! I'm so glad our whole staff participates in such FUN stuff!!!

Just a thought:
How about an encouraging note for your teacher for Valentine's Day? Many children bring in the nicest gifts of CHOCOLATE for their special teacher...but, they are all trying to be BIG LOSERS! Cheer them on with a note to keep 'em going! Thanks so much!
As we have posted on the small bulletin board in the hallway:
NO CHOCOLATES PLEASE FOR YOUR TEACHER'S TREAT
FOR THAT WOULD SURELY CAUSE HER DEFEAT.
HOW ABOUT A NICE ENCOURAGING CARD
THAT WAY SHE WON'T PACK ON THE LARD!

Of course, Ms. Becky said this note should not apply to her, she has been working out so much. Do me a favor though, DON'T bring her candy! :)
